Dr. Michael Rumore

Dr.  Michael Rumore and DaniDr. Rumore, the owner of Lake Seminole Animal Hospital, graduated from the veterinary school at Virginia Tech after finishing his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. He started his veterinary career in rural Maryland and Pennsylvania working on dogs, cats, cattle, horses and other farm animals. He realized that the winters and the hooves were not for him and moved to Florida to focus on dog and cat medicine in 1998.

Dr. Rumore often appears on local television and radio stations, such as News Channel 13, Studio 10, as well as WQYK , WRBQ, WSJT and other stations, giving his expert opinion on current pet topics as well as pet advice. He has a regular column in Tampa Bay area newspapers. His pet-family includes his dogs, Max and Coconut (Max adopted from the SPCA of Tampa Bay and Coconut from Florida Boxer Rescue), as well as his cat,  Gabby.

John Sipos, award winning talk journalist

Born in Columbus, Georgia at Fort Benning, John grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York, starting as a teen in the radio business at a local station there in 1960.  He went on to work as an assistant to Morgan Beatty, Edwin Newman and other national correspondents for NBC News before a move to Florida.

In 1973, John Sipos landed on Tampa Bay working as a news anchor, writer, editor at WSUN, then Sarasota’s all-news WQSA, WPLP, and finally 970 WFLA.  John moved on to “no script” live news talk in 1989, radio and television, and then until now, independently created an award winning people, issues, and events program for what are now a 5 station group of CBS Radio stations reaching much of Florida.
